Origins
Sbigopiomb began in 2019 when founder Marco Piombino — a trained barber and former interior architect — saw an opportunity to reimagine the traditional barbershop for modern Zürich.
Drawing on the city's heritage of precision watchmaking and refined hospitality, he designed a space where black basalt floors, hand-brushed copper panels, and cream bouclé seating create an atmosphere of calm focus.
Every element — from the angled mirror frames to the scent diffused through the studio — was chosen to make guests feel both grounded and elevated.
Philosophy
We believe grooming is a ritual, not a transaction. Our barbers train for a minimum of eighteen months before taking independent appointments, mastering scissor-over-comb technique, straight-razor finishing, and contemporary fade architecture.
The studio operates under transparent CHF pricing with no hidden fees. Every service is priced with intention — never placeholder zeros, always fair value for the time and skill invested.
We serve a diverse clientele: finance professionals from Paradeplatz, creatives from Kreis 4, and visitors who discover us while exploring Bahnhofstrasse.
